Bloody Mary Bar

This past weekend my grandparents held their 50th anniversary back in Pennsylvania. So I traveled home for a wonderful time with family and friends. The morning after the party we held a brunch for out of town guests. The food was catered and I put my special touch on the morning by putting together a Bloody Mary Bar.

I put out chilled Ketel One for the traditional Bloody Mary and Patron Silver for Mary's Mexican cousin, "Bloody Maria."

All of the accoutrements can be prepared the night before and stored in the refrigerator for the next day.
List of accoutrements for a successful Bloody Mary Bar:
Celery
Tomato
Lemon
Prepared Horseradish
Maldon Sea Salt
Fresh Black pepper
Olives (stuffed with bleu cheese or garlic)
Garlic (Pickled or in a press)
Cilantro
Parsley
Hot peppers
Artichoke
Pearl onion
Shrimp
Cucumber
Cornichon pickles
Scallion
Bleu cheese
Anchovies (white if possible)
Crispy Bacon
Dijon
Hot sauces: Tobasco, Franks Red Hot, Sriracha etc.
Worcestershire Sauce

These little skewers of cornichon, pearl onions, bleu cheese filled olives and pickled garlic were a beautiful garnish.

I chose to have a Spicy Bloody Maria with bacon and a cornichon skewer.

Thanks for dropping by.
Its basically plain mid east vanilla cake but i added some coffee powder to flavour it.
Simply by beating the eggs and sugar till pale in colour and add the rest of the ingredients followed by a cup of oil at the end of the beating process.
What a great idea! I have only had bloody mary's one way and so fun to learn of all these other more interesting ways!
